Alan Chelak

Alan Chelak was born in Galway, Ireland in 1984 and he hasn’t died yet. Currently he is the manager of Philly AIDS Thrift @ Giovanni's Room — the oldest continuously running LGBTQ bookstore in the world. He is a poet and artist who lives in West Philadelphia. He loves his dog Dumpy and his partner Pablo. Right now, his passions include working with and empowering LGBTQ youth, C86 music, and cinema featuring animals.
