Daniel Park

Daniel Park is a queer, bi-racial, theatre and performance artist based in Philadelphia. His work is interdisciplinary, combining live performance and game design to create interactive experiences that explore the boundaries of human agency. Since moving to Philadelphia in 2014 he has self-produced five major works under his own name, as well as through the Obvious Agency, a company of which he is co-founder. Daniel has been commissioned by the Barnes Foundation and Temple University, invited to produce at The Painted Bride, and presented work in Baltimore through Single Carrot Theatre Company and in Boston through the Outside the Box Festival. Locally, he has collaborated with Applied Mechanics, Orbiter 3, and the Bearded Ladies Cabaret among others. Daniel has acted as a race equity consultant for Headlong Dance Theatre, written about accountability in regards to the Ghostlight Project for the Broad Street Review, and is an active recruiter with Philadelphia Asian Performing Artists. His teaching credits include the University of Pennsylvania, Temple University, and self-organized workshop
