Yujane Chen

Yujane Chen (she/they) is a queer, 1.5-generation im/migrant Taiwanese-American child of diaspora. She was a finalist at the 2017 Youth Speaks Teen Poetry Slam & a member of the Bay Area 2017 Brave New Voices team. She currently studies environmental sciences, ethnic studies, & creative writing at UC Berkeley, where she is a student organizer with CalSLAM (UC Berkeley's spoken word poetry organization) & APASD (Asian Pacific American Student Development). She is constantly (re)learning her roots & her tongue & trying to get her life together.
