I am Unity: Marria Nakhoda

Marria Nakhoda (she/they) is an artist and designer of many mediums. She grew up in Dallas, TX (Kiikaapoi/Jumanos/Tawakoni/Wichita land) participating in visual and performance arts extracurriculars and continued on to graduate from Maryland Institute College of Art. She currently lives and works in Philadelphia, PA (Lenape land) doing a mix of tattooing, graphic design, and drawing commissions. Her visual language is grounded in the natural world and she is committed to making art and design work that is accessible for a diverse array of clients.

"Most of my art takes notice of the natural world through both micro and macro lenses; in both texture and shape, representational and imaginative. I enjoy being sensitive to detail and think that appears in my art and design work alike."
