Listen in as Pakistani and Indo-Guyanese mothers and daughters make roti, while discussing the cultural and familial role that roti has played across homes and cultures. Attendees will learn two styles of roti-making from Pakistani and Indo-Guyanese intergenerational kitchens, while snacking on fresh, delicious rotis with vegetarian sides. The discussion will be moderated by Sharmin Hossain, Co-Founder of Queer Crescent. Attendees will also receive recipes and tips, and a recording of the demo for those who’d like to make roti at home for the upcoming holiday!
