Chinatown is a growing and vibrant community - the future of the neighborhood should be determined by the people who call it home.

Join leaders of the Save Chinatown Coalition to screen two films that contextualize and mobilize the current movement. The Past and Future of DC Chinatown (2018) documents a shrinking Chinatown in the face of major development projects. Look Forward and Carry on the Past: Stories from Philadelphia’s Chinatown (2002) follows community efforts to stop a stadium from being built in the neighborhood.

Afterwards, hear updates on the Save Chinatown coalition, and how others can join the movement.
