Bill Nace is an experimental musician based in Philadelphia, PA. While Nace maintains a robust career as a solo musician, he has become widely known for many of his collaborations including Michael Morley, Graham Lambkin, Sakina Abdou, John Truscinski, Thurston Moore, and Kim Gordon, with whom he regularly plays as one half of the experimental duo Body/Head. For this performance, Nace will team up with saxophonist Tamio Shiraishi, a legend in the experimental noise and improvisational scenes of New York and Tokyo dating back to the 1970s. Tamio brings his unique style of chaotic high frequency sax noise to Nace’s hypnotic drone guitar in what is sure to be a dynamic musical pairing.

Jordannah Elizabeth is an accomplished writer, editor, and cultural critic known for her insightful commentary on music, social issues, and the intersection of race and identity. Jordannah is particularly celebrated for her expertise in music journalism, having covered a wide range of genres from hip-hop to jazz, and for her critical analysis of the cultural dynamics shaping contemporary music.
