Tax Prep Party for Artists 2026

At this tailored drop-in workshop, experts Akeem Davis and Logan Cryer will guide you through the basics of taxes for artists, including separating personal and artistic finances, Schedule C filing, self-employment versus employment, and tracking deductions. At 2PM and 3PM, Akeem and Logan will give a brief presentation about recent changes to the City’s Business Income and Receipts Tax and Net Profits Tax, which all businesses, including self-employed artists, are required to file annually.
