Asian Arts Initiative is proud to present a new opportunity to earn points towards your future rental reservations. Service For Space is a new program designed for artists, our beloved community members, and neighbors to trade their sweat equity for our building equity.

The benefits to us:

  • We get to trial a sustainable cooperative business model with and for our community based on our current and funded resources
  • We eliminate the barrier of cash only funding for access to our beautiful spaces
  • We learn more about the needs of our community of future renters by diversifying those renters and experimenting with the possibilities of future business planning

The benefits to you:

  • 1 hour = 1 hour in AAI Studios B & Studio D
  • 5 hours = 1 hour in AAI Black Box Theater or Event Hall
  • 40 hours = 1 full day rental of Theater of Event Hall
  • Reduces your taxable income if you file as an independent contractor and are looking to save
